Arles is an exceptional city located just 5 kilometers from our charming cottages in the Camargue. Arles is full of monuments to discover such as the Roman amphitheater, the Saint-Trophime cathedral, the Alyscamps, the Montmajour Abbey or the ancient theater. The museums in Arles are worth visiting: the Réattu museum, the Arles Antique museum and the Vincent Van Gogh foundation. Near Arles a few minutes away, you can also discover the beach of Piémanson or that of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.

Beautiful walks will be within everyone's reach during your stay with family or friends in our cottages with swimming pool in the Camargue. Your stop at Domaine de la Tourette could be the opportunity for you to discover the rice fields, salt marshes, swamps or even ponds like that of Vaccarès. We recommend several activities to do, such as a boat trip on the Tiki III , various nautical activities (canoe, paddle, pedal boats, mountain biking, etc.) on the nautical base of Kayak-Vert , a trip to the zoo de la Barben , a 4 x4 safari in through the Camargue or a tree climbing session at Accropassion. For the happiness of children and adults, a horse school is less than 2 km from our lodgings with reception halls and a golf course less than 30 minutes away.

Nîmes and Pont-du-Gard


Nîmes is less than 30 minutes from Domaine de la Tourette. You will be charmed by this city and its vestiges from another era: its arenas, the square house, the clock tower and the Castellum Aquae. To learn more about the Romans and to observe Roman pieces, visit the Musée de la Romanité, inaugurated in 2018.

Very close to Nîmes, discover the Pont-du-Gard. This ancient Roman aqueduct has more than 40 centuries of history. A beautiful walk in the middle of nature will await you.

The Baux de Provence


Only a 30-minute drive from your holiday resort is Les Baux-de-Provence. This typical village of Provence will seduce you with the charm of the alleys of its town center. While strolling through the city, you will not miss the Château des Baux-de-Provence, the Saint-Vincent Church, the Santons Museum, the Porte Eyguières and the Chapel of the White Penitents. The must-see of Baux-de-Provence is the site of the Carrières de Lumières where you will attend a superb light and sound show.

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence


Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is located in the heart of the Alpilles. It is known to all for the passage of the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh. Several routes will allow you to discover the artist's works and the places that inspired him, such as the Saint-Paul de Mausole monastery. We also advise you to visit the Archaeological site of Glanum, an open-air museum, the Alpilles museum and the Estrine museum.

Avignon and its festival


In a 40-minute drive, you will be in Avignon city center. We recommend that you visit several must-see places in the city such as the Pont d'Avignon, the Palais des Papes, the Place Pie, the cathedral and the Rocher des Doms, as well as the Saint-Martial chapel. Three museums are absolutely worth discovering in the city of Avignon: the Calvet museum, the Petit Palais museum and the Lambert collection. Orange and its ancient theater


The city of Orange has kept and is home to many vestiges of the Roman Empire. The city of Montpellier is less than an hour's drive from Domaine de la Tourette. During your stay in the city of Montpellier, you should not miss the unmissable things to see and do such as having a coffee on the terrace of a restaurant on the Place de la Comédie, strolling through the historic center " L'Écusson ”, go to the Arc de Triomphe, watch the sunset on the promenade of Peyrou or take a moment to relax in the Jardin des Plantes.

Marseille, the Phocaean city


During your vacation in our cottages with swimming pool in the Camargue, discover one of the most beautiful towns of the Côte d´Azur: Marseille. We advise you that too little to taste a good bouillabaisse in a restaurant by the sea, to lose yourself in the alleys of the Panier, to attend the auction in the Old Port or to go shopping on the Canebière. The song of the cicadas will accompany your walks to the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Cathedral, the one that the Marseillais nickname "La Bonne Mère".
